Assistant Director – Coaching
As the Assistant Director of Coaching at Diamond Dreams Academy, Christina brings a wealth of experience in player development, scouting, and coaching, playing a vital role in the Academy’s mission to elevate baseball in India.
Christina has an impressive coaching career that spans multiple levels of baseball and softball, both in the U.S. and internationally. She became the first women coach when she served as an assistant coach for the St. Louis Cardinals’ Minor League Baseball teams, including the AA Peoria Chiefs and the Rookie FCL Complex Team. Her keen eye for talent and dedication to player development also led her to become a Birddog/Associate Scout for the past several years, focusing on the southeast region.
Christina was the British National Team Coach, helping lead Team GB to a Bronze Medal at the 2017 European Games in Bollate, Italy, and qualifying for the 2018 World Games in Tokyo, Japan. Under her guidance, Team GB placed 11th in the 2018 World Games, and Christina was promoted to coach Pitchers and Catchers for the 19u British team in 2018. Her teams have participated in numerous prestigious events, including the London Cup, the European Games, and the Super Six Qualifier in Holland.
Christina’s coaching expertise is grounded in her experience as a former NCAA Division II head coach. She led Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, to the NCAA National Tournament in 2009 during her first year at the helm, and she has developed numerous All-Conference and All-America players throughout her career. As a two-time All-American player for the University of South Carolina, Christina still holds career records for at-bats, doubles, and sacrifice flies for the Gamecocks. She played an integral role in leading the Gamecocks to their third NCAA Women’s College World Series appearance in 1997.
Christina’s coaching philosophy is rooted in data-driven player development and modern training technologies, which she continues to apply at Diamond Dreams Academy. With her deep understanding of the game and extensive background in both playing and coaching at the highest levels, Christina is dedicated to identifying and nurturing emerging talent, fostering leadership, and building a strong baseball culture in India.
